Mina N. Mirzaie

Attorney at Law

About Mina

Mina N. Mirzaie is an Associate Attorney at the firm. She defends hospitals, healthcare facilities, physicians, physicians’ groups, and healthcare professionals against claims of negligence and medical malpractice. Additionally, she represents individuals, businesses, and corporations in matters related to personal and premises liability, construction and labor law, hospitality and retail liability, trucking and transportation.

Prior to joining Monaco Cooper Lamme & Carr, PLLC, Mina was an Assistant District Attorney with the Kings County District Attorney’s Office. In her capacity as an ADA, she handled nearly 200 cases from beginning to end, including discovery, court and pre-trial hearings, trying misdemeanors, and indicting felony matters before the Grand Jury.

Why Mina?

Brooklyn’s criminal courts are a tough place to begin a legal career, and that is exactly where Mina started. Navigating through dozens of diverse case types, engaging inter-agency collaboration, and personally pursuing the truth through fact finding investigations to ensure the “right thing” was accomplished on “every single case, every single time,” is what has shaped Mina’s approach to her legal endeavors.

Mina’s strengths as an attorney are tied to her appreciation and comfort of court-based work. When you work with Mina you will see that there is a deeply empathetic and human touch that she intentionally pursues with all her clients. Above all, as a trained trial attorney Mina remains a tough advocate for those she is privileged to represent.
