The transaction, which spanned several months of strategic planning, negotiation, and regulatory navigation, involved refinancing a portfolio of assets across multiple jurisdictions. Within New York State, the financing of our client’s properties spanned six counties and 22 individual parcels. Each parcel was thoroughly researched for title, surveys, and conveyances.
The MCLC team also ensured compliance with local municipal and zoning laws to satisfy both the lender’s requirements and adherence to the Seventh Revision of the TIRSA Rate Manual, released on October 1, 2024, during the transaction. The deal required coordination with the lender and its counsel, local counsel, and regulatory bodies in several states, underscoring MCLC’s depth of experience and commitment to delivering seamless legal solutions in high-stakes, multi-jurisdictional matters.
