Mackenzie Monaco Speaks on Evidence and the Impacts of Spoliation

Monaco Cooper Lamme & Carr, PLLC’s partner, Mackenzie Monaco, was a speaker at the Albany County Bar Association continuing legal education program “Duty to Preserve: The Obligation to Preserve Evidence and the Impacts of Spoliation”, held on May 7, 2026 in Albany, NY.

The program provided a brief overview of the fundamental principles of the duty to preserve. Specifically, the program discussed the legal obligation to preserve relevant evidence, including the requirement to protect and maintain data, documents, and tangible evidence, and the ramifications of the failure to comply with this duty, including the potential exposure to spoliation sanctions.
