About Samantha
Samantha L. Maziejka is an Associate Attorney at Monaco Cooper Lamme & Carr, PLLC, where she advises clients across a wide range of corporate and commercial legal matters. Her practice includes business formation, corporate governance and compliance, commercial contracts, mergers and acquisitions, real estate transactions, and employment-related matters. Sammi represents clients in state courts throughout New York and is committed to providing practical, business-focused legal solutions.
Before joining the firm, Sammi worked with businesses and nonprofit organizations at a local law firm, helping them navigate complex corporate and commercial issues. She also gained in-house experience as a legal intern with the Duke University Office of General Counsel, supporting legal operations within a major academic institution.
Sammi’s professional background includes leadership in higher education, having served as Assistant Athletic Director for External Relations & Development at Meredith College. There, she established and led the college’s first athletic development program, achieving a significant increase in donor engagement and annual giving. Sammi is also the author of the children’s book, Tina the Toddler and Grumpy Grammy Go On a Picnic.
Why Sammi?
Sammi’s path to the legal field wasn’t traditional and that’s exactly what makes her approach so effective. Her early career in hospitality, tourism, and college athletics shaped the values she brings to her practice today: discipline, strategic and analytical thinking, resilience under pressure, and a strong sense of teamwork.
Whether she’s preparing a case or leading a client meeting, Sammi approaches her work with focus, integrity, and a clear drive to succeed. While you can still find her cheering on Duke and (enthusiastically) yelling at the TV during games, she’s found her true calling in the legal field.
Clients appreciate Sammi’s approachable, down-to-earth style, along with her ability to combine professionalism with warmth, curiosity, and a welcome touch of humor.
