ALBANY, NY – December 30, 2024 – Monaco Cooper Lamme & Carr, PLLC is pleased to announce that Stacy Smith has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer (COO). Stacy was previously Firm Administrator having joined the firm in January 2020 from Carter Conboy. She is the firm’s first C-suite leader.
This new position demonstrates MCLC’s evolution towards professional management guiding essential business functions. Under Stacy’s direction over the past five years, she has focused on building and strengthening business operations, talent, and culture. As the Chief Operating Officer, Stacy will manage the day-to-day operations of the law firm, develop and execute the firm’s operational strategy, work with the managing partners to ensure the firm meets its financial and operational goals, and oversee administrative functions such as budgeting, accounting, payroll, human resources, and facilities management. She also manages marketing and business development efforts.
