Monaco Cooper Lamme & Carr, PLLC partner, Mackenzie Monaco, spoke on the topic of workplace wellness at the ALFA International Hospitality & Retail Practice Group Regional Seminar in Columbus, Ohio on June 16, 2022.
Mackenzie’s presentation “Oh, For #@&! Sake – Wellness is Not a Dirty Word” tackled how workplaces influence employees’ mental health. When employees spend about half of their waking hours at work, and you combined that with the day-to-day stressors of the job and home life, employers need for focus on wellness initiatives that support employees overall wellbeing. Mackenzie led an interactive discussion focused on wellness initiatives, as well as how wellness programs can improve an organization’s overall financial and social health.
